James Toebbe is a lifelong resident of Covington and a proud veteran with 15 years of military service among the U.S. Navy, Kentucky National Guard and Navy Reserves, including deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Raised in the Latonia neighborhood, James attended Holmes High School before enlisting in the Navy, where he served as a Cryptologist.

With over 20 years of professional experience in data analytics and management, James now leads a team of professionals for a marketing communication company. His expertise lies in solving complex challenges and delivering innovative solutions, skills he brings to his role as a Covington City Commissioner.

Passionate about serving his community, James has worked with local organizations to support veterans, first responders, and initiatives that improve quality of life for all residents. In his free time, James enjoys spending time with his fiancé, Amber, and their dog, Bruno.
