Meetings are held at 6:30 pm on the 4th Wednesday of the month at First Financial Bank, 601 Madison Avenue, Covington, KY 41011.
The Covington Urban Forestry Board’s mission is to: (1) assist in drafting a tree ordinance to regulate the planting, maintenance, and removal of City-owned trees, shrubs, and other plants, (2) assist in the development of a tree planting master plan and best-practices management plan, (3) educate citizens and assist neighborhood groups on urban forestry concerns and programs, and (4) review plat and site development plans for compliance with the tree ordinance.
