COVINGTON - The City’s Recreation Department is pleased to announce that they will once again partner  with the UK based Challenger Sports. The Recreation Department will host the British Soccer Camp, the #1 Soccer Camp in the USA & Canada, the week of  Monday, June 9 through Friday, June 13, 2014.

This half-day camp will be offered in two sessions each day, an early morning, 9:00 am to noon and a late afternoon, 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  This Camp targets youths  ages 5-9 and 10-14.  All campers will be divided into the appropriate age groups. 

Hundreds of coaches have helped Challenger Sports develop one of the most innovative approaches to coaching youth soccer in the world. Experienced staff study the game at all levels and have identified key techniques and skills that players can master to reach their true potential. 

Each day includes individual foot skills, technical drills, tactical practices, small-sided games, coached scrimmages, and a daily World Cup tournament.
