On August 26, City Commission approved a list of 45 properties throughout the City to be demolished by JP Construction, the third party awarded the contract in the amount of $399,450.  JP Construction will have 120 days to complete this work and have all of the lots graded properly and planted with grass seed and straw.  

These properties are beyond any potential rehabilitation, are blighted, are bringing property values down, and are creating safety issues for the immediate neighbors and the surrounding neighborhoods.
