The City is currently seeking a Development Manager to join its Development Department.

Under the general supervision and direction of the Development Director/City Engineer, the Development Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day economic development activities for the City of Covington by:

• Creating and implementing programs to retain, attract, expand and grow compatible businesses for the City;
• Promoting the City as an ideal business location through presentations, correspondence and meetings with individual investors and business owners, organizations and economic development prospects and clients: promoting business development through personal contacts with community leaders, management officials of existing business, real estate professionals, and area and state agencies;
• Creating, assessing, and managing economic incentives and directing the day-to-day targeted outreach efforts to stimulate new investment and employment opportunities citywide.
