This position is under the general administrative direction of the Public Works Director and responsible for hiring and managing and direct supervision of full-time staff and temporary workers of the division. This division is responsible for litter control, graffiti removal, street cleaning and leaf pick up. Staff may also provide assistance to the City’s Code Enforcement and Solid Waste.

 

The supervisor will be responsible for management and supervision activities of this division. This includes controlling all routine, preventative and emergency maintenance programs in the division by establishing work load and priorities and scheduling and coordinating manpower, equipment, and materials. Supervision will also include maintenance and repair activities -including organizing, directing, controlling and monitoring the performance of the division’s work. Work is evaluated for timely and efficient completion. Direct supervision is exercised over the work of division workers and seasonal employees.
