COVINGTON, Ky. - Be careful driving over the Brent Spence Bridge into Ohio overnight.
Traffic will be brought to a stop for brief periods on the bridge between midnight and 4 a.m. Saturday so overhead signs can be installed, Kentucky Transportation officials said this afternoon.
The work is conditional on the weather.
The interruptions will affect the northbound lanes, which carry Interstates 71/75 from Kentucky into Ohio, and traffic will be maintained and directed by law enforcement officers.
The work is actually a project of the Ohio Department of Transportation, but Kentucky is helping to spread the word, a public information officer for the KYTC’s District 6 Office said.
