COVINGTON, Ky. - (Channeling our best Sesame Street here) ... this weekend in Covington in mid-March is brought to you by the letter “M.”
It features... March Madness (if you like basketball, and not many of us in the Bluegrass State do not) ... the weekly Farmers Market ... auditions for the Dinner Detective Murder Mystery Dinner Show ... a meditation workshop (well, yoga etc.) ... lots of live music ... and a lot of heavily muscled arms competing against each other.
Watching the game(s)
Of course you can watch basketball anywhere, including in your home. And we bet most restaurants, bars, barbershops, and oil change stations will have televisions tuned to college basketball over the next few days.
But here are the places in Covington that we’ve found are ADVERTISING themselves as the place to watch basketball, whether they’re opening early, featuring drink specials or whatever.
- House of Orange Sports Bar & Grill is hosting its 2nd annual March Mania Event on Friday (including raffles, auctions and other contests) to benefit The Joel Cornette Foundation, which supports athletes through scholarships and wellness programs etc. Tickets and info, HERE.
