COVINGTON, Ky. - With no change to the garbage and recycling schedule this week, Covington residents will be able to get rid of all those watermelon rinds, 2-liter bottles, and stale hamburger buns without delay.

 

But Rumpke Waste & Recycling has an important safety reminder: To avoid starting a fire, make sure you soak spent fireworks, sparklers, and charcoal embers in water before you place them in the trash.
