COVINGTON, Ky. -- Covington’s newest family activity is a walking tour that combines a scavenger hunt for very young children with an educational message.
A set of alphabet art installations - 26 of them, of course - are going up around downtown Covington through the Read Ready Covington Early Literacy Collaborative.
Each sign depicts a word with its picture and challenges readers and soon-to-be readers with a “You found a word. Go find more” message.
Two additional sets of A-Z installations will be completed in the coming week, and a map will be made public.
