Day 2 of road resurfacing project shows fast progress

COVINGTON, Ky. -- Just over a day into the project, look how far Prus Construction has gotten in replacing the deteriorating brick pavers at the intersection of Madison Avenue and M.L. King Jr. Boulevard/12th Street.

Here are four photos, one each facing north, south, east and west.

The bricks – just within the intersection itself – are being replaced with colored concrete, and the first pour is scheduled for Wednesday.

Props to the crews from Prus for shaking off this heat and getting it done.
