Covington Fire Department Visits Holy Family School; Promotes Fire Prevention Month Safety Initiatives

COVINGTON, KY -- As a part of Fire Prevention Month, the Covington Fire Department crews from Pumper 6 and Rescue 1, and retired Lieutenant Tom Brinkman visited Holy Family School.  The Fire Department spoke with students about fire safety, becoming a firefighter, not being scared of firefighters, and reminding them to call 911 for help.

Earlier this week, the Covington Fire Department welcomed Holy Cross Elementary School preschool students to the Company 8 Fire Station! While at the station, firefighters spoke with the preschoolers about fire safety.
